About
Kexuan Li is a film, game, and theatre composer whose work centers on storytelling, emotional pacing, and the relationship between music and visual narrative. Her music spans orchestral, hybrid orchestral, ambient electronic, and chamber styles, shaped by a strong sensitivity to context and medium.
She brings a well-rounded musical background to her work, with extensive experience in orchestral and chamber music performance, as well as training in clarinet and keyboard. This performer’s perspective informs her approach to orchestration, instrumental writing, and musical practicality. In addition to linear scoring, she is experienced in interactive game music composition, including branching, layering, and crossfading techniques. She has also participated in multiple remote orchestral recording sessions in Budapest, as well as live chamber music recording sessions, gaining hands-on knowledge of the scoring and production workflow from composition through post-production.
Kexuan has composed music for theatre productions and game projects, and has also been involved in sound design and live music execution. She works closely with directors, writers, and production teams to adapt musical ideas to both narrative and practical needs. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games at Berklee College of Music, and is based in Valencia, Spain.
